Terms of use
Last updated September 25, 2026
These terms cover your use of TRI Monitoring. By creating an account you agree to them.
What TRI is
TRI shows your credit reports and scores from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, explains what changed, and helps you prepare to apply for credit. TRI is not a lender, does not make lending decisions, and does not offer credit repair. Scores shown may differ from the scores a lender uses. Readiness checks are information, not a promise of approval or of any score change.
Your account
- You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and use TRI only for your own credit file.
- Keep your sign-in secure. Tell us right away if you think someone else got in.
- You authorize us, in writing, to get your reports and scores for as long as that permission is active. You can withdraw it at any time on the "Who can see my credit" page.
The paid plan
- The Readiness Pass renews each period until you cancel. We remind you before every renewal.
- Cancel any time on the Plan page. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Disputes and freezes
You file disputes and freezes directly with each bureau. TRI tracks them for you, free. You have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act; see the CFPB summary of your rights.
Fair use
Do not try to access other people's data, interfere with the service, or use TRI to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Limits
TRI is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you or a lender make based on what TRI shows, or for errors in data supplied by the bureaus.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect. Questions: support@trimonitoring.com.
